A Bit of Newness
Shaping my creative identity for 2026
Dear readers,
It’s been a little over a year since I joined Substack, and I’m still amazed by the possibilities this platform offers.
Okay — I’ll admit — I sometimes get a bit lost too 😄
Without going into too much detail, I spent quite some time trying to find my identity here, both as an author and as a writer. I’m someone who enjoys experimenting with different formats, different styles… maybe even too many at once.
But over the past few months, something has become clear: poetry has taken the lead. It has naturally become the centre of my creative momentum, and that’s why I wanted to share a new way of working with you.
What I love about poetry is how each of you can connect it to your own emotions. Your reactions inspire me — seeing how words that emerge from my mind spark something in someone else, how you interpret them, how you catch certain nuances. Your comments broaden my perspective and help me get to know you better.
Still, I often feel that a piece of writing gains depth when it is accompanied by context. I’ve always been fascinated by the process behind a creation — sometimes even more than the finished product.
A poem is a window into a very personal, almost intimate space. Beyond the themes I explore or the emotions I put into them, there’s a whole construction behind each text: the style, the vocabulary, the tone, the underlying thread.
When I started this blog, Mosaic of Stories, my intention was to highlight something essential to both my writing and my life: storytelling. But along the way, I somewhat drifted from that core. Now that I’ve reorganised my ideas and found a clearer direction, I want not only to share my poems with you, but also to invite you backstage.
So from today onward, every poem will be accompanied — a few days later — by a short “analysis” article. A look behind the words.
And there’s more.
Some of you may not know this, but I also write novels. In the coming days, I’ll be opening a new section on this blog: Behind the Pages.
It will be dedicated to my fiction work, following the same approach — chapters presented alongside the reflections, intentions, hesitations and insights that shaped them.
Thank you again for being here, for reading, reacting, and giving meaning to all this. Never hesitate to comment, like, or share — though I must admit, I do have a soft spot for real conversation.
Peace & Bliss,
Aaron.

This is something I relate to:I’ve always been fascinated by the process behind a creation — sometimes even more than the finished product."
I look forward to a more in-depth look into your creative process.
And for me having a soft spot for you, I'm looking forward to everything that you are going to share with us here, dear Aaron 🌬🦋
