This era is about a very digital world. With mobile phones, monitors and Internet... a lot at our fingertips! The good, bad and the ugly... its up to us to use it in the best possible ways, to spread peace, love and respect.
It’s a response I really appreciate. The era is here, whether we like it or not — and we have a choice: either to look back in anger, thinking things were better before, or to embrace it and do our part to spread something good.
The past should be seen as a place to visit, not a limiting space we keep trying to recreate.
Yes, I said it " things were better back then".... but it doesn't help to have these thoughts now. Because, here we are having to ' deal' with it now... Just make it a good one and do good.
'Both remarkable yet jaded' is a good line and juxtaposes well with the previous stanza with the 'it was better back then' and the constant nostalgia, which makes the person and the things he or she is nostalgic about feel and seem jaded.
Aaron, what a beautiful piece describing this swiftly changing part of our lives. Your writing is exemplary. 🥰
Thank you so much for your kind words, Laney, as always 😍😍😍
And you as well! 🥰
