There are words that slip into the hollow of the ear,
Falling from nowhere, they echo in sighs,
They harmonize into intoxicating melodies.
They seem like such an obvious truth,
A proof of existence,
Of a concept that hadn’t yet found its reign.
I particularly like this one:
When the recipe for eternal life is spoken,
By the act of splitting a part of one’s soul,
Resulting in transcendence, the magnificence of a state:
The fusion of the abstract with the material.
A familiar concept:
Transfer our energies into transfigured vessels.
Astonishing when the ephemeral surpasses itself,
When the very living energy resides in a lifeless body.
What overwhelms us is the sacredness:
To say we’re all a bit of magicians.
But that’s not enough.
We focus on what’s missing:
An object to enchant another object,
Or what seems like the extension of a divine hand.

Il y a de ces mots qui s’immiscent dans le creux de l’oreille,
Tombés de nulle part, ils résonnent en soupirs,
Ils s’accordent en mélodies enivrantes.
Ils semblent d’une évidence,
Une preuve de l’existence
D’un concept qui n’avait pas encore trouvé de califat.
J’aime particulièrement celui-là :
Quand s’évoque la recette de la vie éternelle,
Par l’acte de fragmenter une partie de son âme,
Résultant alors en la transcendance, la magnificence d’un état :
La fusion de l’abstrait au matériel.
Concept familier :
Transférer nos énergies dans des réceptacles transfigurés.
Sidérant lorsque l’éphémère se dépasse,
Quand l’énergie bien vivante se trouve dans un corps sans vie.
Ce qui nous dépasse, c’est le caractère sacré :
Se dire qu’on est tous un peu magiciens.
Mais cela ne suffit pas.
On se focalise sur ce qui nous manque :
Un objet pour ensorceler un objet,
Ou ce qui s’apparente à l’extension de la main divine.
