Oh, but despite what I share, I’m not the last one to scroll either :D I just regret that sometimes the virtual world pulls me away from reality with a certain sense of excess. But truth often lies in balance — it’s all about finding it! Thanks for your feedback, and you really captured an important part of my philosophy: positivity (despite some rather pessimistic writings). And well, sometimes it’s better to just laugh about it, right?
You're welcome! The modern world with its technology is a constant assault on the human spirit. Someone said that electricity made a properly spiritual life impossible, which is an idea with a lot to ponder as it includes everything we take for granted even light bulbs governing our sleeping and waking. The breath is an excellent image of hope as it always there, the life force. It's a powerful word -expressions like 'until my dying breath' are very stirring.
As I was scrolling down (just kidding) your poem I enjoyed it. I liked the optimistic image of the breath despite the pessimistic subject.

Never more true than now. 💙🤍
Great poem on the reality of the times we live in. I think all of us can relate!
Thanks for your feedback, Manuela! Indeed, it’s part of the world we are living in, with its goods and bads…
I see it and I am guilty too. Substack brings me to head downturned, elbows bent, hands holding and thumbs doing all the communication….hmmmm???
Curious, isn’t it? The way the body reacts through this way of communicating! But let’s be honest — we’re all addicted to the same Sub(stack?)
Beautiful!! Love it,Aaron!💖
Thank you so much, Aster! I hope you are doing well :)
