I think I'll give it a miss. When I watch a film it must draw me in immediately. I want something that holds my attention all the way. Thanks for this great review!

And I function in exactly the same way because, in general, an excellent movie for me is one that captures my full attention within the first 15 minutes. Of course, there are exceptions—those films that need to be digested to be truly appreciated. For me, that's definitely the case with directors like Tarantino or even Nolan in some of his works. But there's always something that grabs me and makes me want to watch them again.

I didn’t want to be too categorical, so I’ll give it another chance in a few years. But for now, I feel like its success isn’t justified, and I think that’s what bothers me.

I understand what you mean. What did they see that evaded you? I've also watched hyped up films that left me cold. Tarantino is a master!
